So yeah. I’m still alive, and here’s some new art to prove it! But i’ve been so busy, lazy, and hungry that I haven’t been drawing much. Yes, I am ashamed of myself, and yes, you can send me some food Anywho, it’s just a craptastic sketch/color thing so enjoy it while I try to gather myself for other works.

Yes, I am still alive posting with the Wordpress app on the iPhone. It’s pretty cool since I’m not constrained to my computer (which I love but change is nice sometimes). So iPhone’s Wordpress and Remote is actually quite the combo. Relaxing on the john or on the couch listening to tunes and writing without having to touch a mouse or tablet pens.
As for my personal life, I’ve been very stressed with guy problems, but I’m hoping it would work itself out sooner or later. Hopefully.
I’ll post some art later on in the week, but here’s a screencap of what I’m listening to. Not art, but it’s something. >.<

For some reason, I like to stay up until the crack of dawn to watch some television recordings (I LOVE my EyeTV) and then draw. Here’s something stupid I did a couple of days ago…
So, I got a new iMac, and I’ve been watching tons of recorded television on it. Oh yeah, Ninja Gaiden Sigma has also caught my attention and somewhat…kept it >.>;; Anywho, here’s my first drawing with my iMac.

So yeah. I take a little break, and I come back to give you guys the first page of my Moleskine sketchbook. I think I’ll scan pages from it periodically, and in the correct order so you guys can see how the progress is going. And uhmm…that first page was drawn maybe a year or two ago. Perhaps even three years ago so…the scans will catch up. Hopefully….

Tomorrow I’ll be out and about helping my mom find a job, lunching with Jennifer, and hitting RadioShack and Rex Audio/Video to hunt down some DVI/HDMI/TOSLink cables. I hope I find everything at RadioShack, but if not, I still have my Amazon cart saved.
Why all the cables you ask? Well, I’m going to be turning my Intel Mac Mini into an HTPC, and if that works real well, I just might go get an iMac 20/24″ so that the mini can be a full time media center powerhouse. Hell, I might as well go cheap and let the mini be the PC and media outlet for a little while until I can get some more money. I don’t want to overuse my shiny new Amex card…yeah….and also fuck my credit up.
Anywho, I hope I survive the cable searching trip so …plant some good voodoo on me or bad voodoo on others. Whichever you’re in the mood for….

I apologize for the lack of news lately, but I’ve been trying to switch servers for the past week or so. I recently acquired some space over at Media Temple (gs)(yay!) because HostRocket has an overly aggressive SpamAssassin setup on all email accounts hosted on their servers. So, yeah, I wasn’t getting most of my valid email, but I was receiving my fair share of Viagra or Nigerian Prince emails; I was pretty much a happy camper in SPAMland. This sad turn of events led me to send in several trouble tickets to HostRocket with the final response being
First of all note that no mail is ever deleted
by our mail servers for any reason. If a message
is undeliverable for any reason (including spam
filtering) it is bounced back to the sender with
an explaination as to why the mail couldn\’t be
delivered.Setting a spam score of 15 effectively disables
SpamAssassin. Your per domain (postmaster) and
per account (linda) spam score settings are now
both set to 15 and at this point no mail at all
should be bounced due to it\’s spam score.If you continue to have problems the issue is
likely to be something other than spam filtering.
If you can copy the full message headers from
the email you were able to receive via Hotmail
and failed to receive here and paste them to a
ticket response we\’ll be happy to look to see if
we can identify any problems. Thanks!
First of all, as soon as I switched over to MT, I received my much needed password recovery emails immediately. Secondly, there is absolutely no difference in the email being bounced back to the sender and being deleted. I don’t get my emails either way! Third, I really don’t like my spam filters to not deliver email to me. It’s just…not right…
I’m not trying to bash SpamAssassin in any way, but I would like more control over how my email is handled. Seriously, if the mail guy decides to chuck your bills and advertisement mailings together, you’d be pissed. Royally pissed.
Anywho, time for me to hit the sack. I’ve slept maybe two hours, and it’s 9:48 AM. Goodnight…errr…morning…confusion.
